WPA is in need of parent participation in many areas.
Please submit the below form if you are willing to help with the following:
Anything, Just Ask-If you don’t mind being called in a pinch or a committee needs some extra hands, you are the person for this area. During the year people need additional help; this is the group we gather names from.
Art Appreciation-Volunteers visit a classroom to give a short presentation on a particular artist or subject, once a month. Help with Art Fair
Baking-Provide cookies, desserts, appetizers or salads for PTO meetings, school functions and staff appreciation.
Book Fair-Books are brought in and sold during the Fall and Spring. Volunteers help with book selections and sales.
Room Parents- a person the classroom teacher can call to help out with class projects or activities.
Help Plan some Fine Arts field trips are programs at our school. Also to help with finding the stage equipment that we yet need (curtains, lights, sound system)
Lunch time assistance- To help out with the K-5 eating times
Harvest Day-Volunteers and ideas needed to organize and work this October event. Click for VOLUNTEER FORM.
Fund Raisers-Fall-Spring-assist in the distributions of orders.
Garden Club- Assist in keeping the landscape looking fresh by planting and weeding.
General Mills Box Tops-Collect, bundle and mail back tops to General Mills for a check. Can be done from home.
Mother/Son Event-Help organize our night out for our Moms and their sons.
Picture Day-Assist the photographers and teachers by making sure kids are ready to have their pictures taken. September and March 1-3 hours.
Popcorn “Poppers”-Pop popcorn and deliver to students on Friday mornings. Usually 2 – 2 ½ hours. You sign up for the days you want.
Help organize 2-3 family social activities
Help organize 2-3 middle school activities
Science Fair-Help plan and set up the annual science fair.
SCRIP program - Input orders and sort and distribute orders on Friday's
Adult Volunteers for helping with yearbook and yearbook fundraiser's
