I am thrilled to be returning to WPA! I love teaching, and am excited to be working with fourth graders and their families. I live in the nearby town of Davison, and am a very proud mother of three grown daughters, and five wonderful grandchildren who make me smile every day. I also have a cuddly, 5 year old dog named Riley.
Hobbies
I enjoy spending time and playing with my grandbabies, reading, swimming, photography, making stained glass things, and traveling. I like to explore new things, enjoy life, and share it with others.
Favorite food
My favorite food is steak. I also love summer fresh veggies, and always like sweets.
Education
I graduated from the University of Michigan, Flint for both my Bachelors in Elementary Education, and my Masters in Literacy. I am currently working on a second Masters in Early Elementary Specialization. I strongly believe that I have learned immeasurable lessons from my own children and my students; learning never stops!
GOAL
I am eagerly looking forward to a great school year and getting to know my students and their families! My most important goals are to increase my students’ academic knowledge, and inspire them through my love of learning, to become life-long learners. Through working together with families and administration, I intend to identify how your child learns most effectively, and to facilitate integrated educational opportunities for all learning styles. Lastly, I hope to assist your child in discovering their own ambitions, and further develop their confidence and pride in succeeding
