Dance with Mrs. Lichtenberg
DANCE
I’ve been dancing since I was in the 3rd grade and love it.  In college I was on the American Folk Dance team where I met Alan (my husband) and had the opportunity to travel to Europe with the team and represent the United States in the Dance Festivals throughout France.  I also had the opportunity to be on the Ballroom team and enjoyed that as well.
I have taught tap & ballet at a studio in Wyoming and Alan & I have choreographed and taught dances for several floorshows, musicals, & basic ballroom classes.  We love to dance together & with our children, and still take classes as a couple when we can fit it in.
I became involved with the dance program at WPA when my oldest son was interested in ballroom classes.  That was five years ago and that beginning group of about a dozen dancers has grown into an exciting dance program including dancers K – 8 with social dance, tap, ballet, & clogging.
EDUCATION
I graduated from the little high school of Westside in Idaho with 33 in my graduating class.  I received my associates from Ricks College and my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University.  I have taught 5th grade in Idaho, Migrant/Bilingual in Washington, and ran a Kinder Kamp program in Wyoming.  I enjoyed working with the RtI program for my first time last year at WPA.
EXTRA
Alan & I have 5 children and enjoy being involved with them in their various activities.  That usually keeps me busy enough, but when I get the chance, I enjoy reading, writing in journals, baking, visiting fun places with my family, and of course – dancing!
